Flat Strip Removal Kit
Certain Rieter card models use a cyclo-drive flat stripping media that is no longer actively supported and can be difficult to maintain in stable working condition. When flat strip removal becomes inconsistent, flat tops progressively load up and carding behaviour begins to drift.
The Flat Strip Removal Kit is a replacement concept built around an oscillating fillet-bar cleaning media driven by a cam taken from the main cylinder. It is engineered to remove flat strips reliably and direct them to the waste collection suction hood through a simple, controlled flow path.
What the kit does
- Removes flat strips from flat tops using a dedicated fillet-bar cleaning media
- Sends removed strips automatically to the waste collection suction hood (gravity-assisted flow)
- Provides an easily adjustable cam drive for stable cleaning action
Construction concept
- Cleaning media using FB 25 fillet driven by a cam mechanism
- Self-cleaning 8-row fillet arrangement for effective removal action
- Designed as a low-intervention system intended to be maintenance-light in operation
Applicability (selected platforms)
This kit is supplied only for selected Rietr card models: RC4, RC10, RC50, RC51. Suitability is confirmed during RFQ based on machine configuration and current stripping arrangement.

- Existing flat stripping media arrangement (current condition / issues)
- Observed symptoms (strip carry-over, flat loading, cleaning inconsistency)
This conversion is supplied through a technical RFQ process. The objective is stable functional strip removal—not cosmetic modification.
