Vaamana Approach to Pinned Interface

Pinned Parts such as Rollers and Lattices are interface tools — they shape fibre opening and machine behaviour at speed. That is why we supply them with one principle: follow the machine maker’s intent exactly.

Our work is not to “improve” OEM design. It is to execute the specified pin geometry, density and angle with correct running accuracy and balance — so the card runs as intended.

What must be correct (non-negotiable)

  • OEM-defined pinning — geometry, PPSI and pin angle as specified
  • Running accuracy — concentric behaviour without induced eccentricity
  • Dynamic balance — stable running at operating speeds
  • Pin quality & seating — consistent pin integrity across the roller

We can manufacture from customer drawings when requested. However, for pin rollers, OEM intent governs fibre behaviour and machine stability. When a drawing deviates from OEM specification, we supply it strictly as a customer-defined execution, without assuming responsibility for changes in machine behaviour or product quality.

Model-wise, OEM-aligned supply

Pinned licker-in rollers are supplied strictly model-wise. Vaamana follows OEM-defined pin geometry, PPSI and pin angle for each applicable card model. Specifications are not generalised across machines.

Model-wise execution is handled internally based on your RFQ. This prevents wrong ordering and protects machine behaviour.

Technical RFQ (Recommended)
For best accuracy, share your machine make/model and what changed in running or output. We review enquiries interface-first to avoid wrong selection.
If you’re unsure what to share, use our RFQ Readiness guide before submitting.
